Background
Employee medical leave scenarios are those times when an Employer must accommodate an Employee's need for extended time away from the job due to a personal medical condition. From an employer perspective, these scenarios are very challenging to manage due to long and unknown time horizons, complexity of laws, and the challenges and costs of managing operations in the absence of the Employee.
