Who Attends?
Your meeting will be attended by at least you and your Supervisor. It is however a very common practice for a third person to be present at review meetings.
How long will the meeting take?
Because of all of the advance preparation that has gone into the reviews process, a typical meeting lasts only 15-30 minutes.
What is an Employee Review Workbook?
Meetings are guided by the order of the Employee Review Workbook. Your workbook is customized specifically to you, and you and your Supervisor will follow the exact same version.
Should I expect constructive criticism?
Let's face it, some of us are better at accepting constructive criticism than others. Understand though that your supervisor has been encouraged to give constructive criticism. It's all part of giving balanced feedback and for pursuing continuous improvement.
What if if have questions after the meeting?
If you have questions that arise in the days following the meeting it is important to raise them with your supervisor to clear them up. It's a normal and valuable part of the process.
Do I have to sign the review workbook?
The last step in the process is to sign off on the review workbook. This is to gain your acknowledgement that the meeting took place and that you received a copy of the workbook. Once both parties have signed the document you will both receive a signed copy of the document via email.
