Based on the principle of the Internal Responsibility System (IRS), your H&S Representatives, Company Leaders, Employees and Supervisors must collectively own the design and delivery of your Company's Health and Safety program. However, WorkforceWins plays an important supporting role in the Health & Safety programs of our clients.
What We Do
- Manage the BambooHR software capabilities to the needs of your program and its leaders and committees with reminder alerts, onboarding tasks, training alerts, e-signature capabilities, and intranet.
- Fully manage health and safety training programs through our catalog of online training and the BambooHR Training Management module.
- Provide basic advice on the requirements of provincial health and safety programs.
- Fully manage work refusal scenarios.
- Provide workplace violence and harassment policies.
- Fully manage any workplace violence and harassment scenarios (including project management of internally or externally lead investigations).
- Fully manage health and safety related personnel management scenarios (i.e. misconduct, performance improvement).
- Co-administer WSIB claims with ministry rep, employee, health care providers and company reps.
What We Don't Do
Here are some items where we cannot be involved in given they need to be fully owned by your company personnel. (In many cases our clients retain a Health & Safety Consultant to help with some of these elements.)
- Generating and maintaining health and safety policies and practices.
- Determining training requirements of roles and confirming proper fit between course content / format and said requirements.
- Administration of Joint Health & Safety Committee Meetings and their outcomes.
- Advice on how to manage interactions with Ministry officials around accident investigations or inspections etc.
- Advice on how to manage immediate health and safety related incidents.
